 Duties may include:

  • Invoice service orders, parts sales and contract jobs for multiple locations.
  • Credit checks on new customers.
  • Deposit and post cash receipts.
  • Monitor collections and follow up on past-due accounts.
  • Maintain forms and procedures to support lien protections and collection efforts.
  • Enter inventory transactions and research discrepancies.
  • Accounts Payable for Parts Sales and Credit Card Transactions.
  • Job Cost allocations and maintenance of job files.
  • Sales, excise and use tax accounting, and maintenance of exemption forms.
  • Miscellaneous accounting support such as data entry, filing, spreadsheets and analysis. 
  • Potential for more responsibility as skills develop and workload allows.

Education and experience requirements:

  • Two years of accounting experience or education. 
  • Construction and job costing background helpful.
  • A good working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets. 
  • Detail oriented person with good communication skills.
  • Good phone etiquette.
